5 Movement Training Exercises to Increase Shoulder Flexibility before christmas

Having flexible shoulders is important because it helps you reach, lift, and move your arms easily. Here are 5 simple exercises that can make your shoulders more flexible!

1. **Arm Circles**: Stand up straight and stretch your arms out to the sides. Make big circles with your arms, like you’re drawing circles in the air. Do this for a few seconds, then switch directions. This exercise helps loosen up your shoulder muscles and makes them more flexible.

2. **Cross-Body Shoulder Stretch**: Stretch one arm across your chest and use your other hand to gently pull it closer. You’ll feel a nice stretch in your shoulder. Hold it for a few seconds, then switch arms. This stretch helps your shoulder muscles relax and stretch out.

3. **Child’s Pose with Shoulder Stretch**: Kneel on the floor and sit back on your heels. Reach your arms forward on the ground, stretching your shoulders. To make it even better, move your arms to the sides a little bit. This stretch is great for opening up your shoulders and upper back.

4. **Thread the Needle**: Start on your hands and knees. Take one arm and slide it under your other arm, lowering your shoulder to the ground. Hold for a few seconds and then switch sides. This exercise stretches your shoulders and helps them become more flexible.

5. **Wall Angels**: Stand with your back against a wall and your arms bent like you’re making a “W” shape. Slowly move your arms up and down the wall, like you’re making a snow angel. This helps improve shoulder flexibility and posture.

By doing these exercises regularly, your shoulders will become more flexible, making it easier to move your arms in all directions!
